Mrs. Josie "Jo" Belle Byrd Brown of Dothan passed away peacefully Sunday, August 28, 2016 at SAMC. Mr. Glenn Forrest Owens of Hartford passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his home.
In 1961 Larry was the quarterback for his undefeated high school football team and was ranked the number two quarterback in the state of Pennsylvania, second only to the number one ranked, Joe Namath. Larry obtained his undergraduate degree from Clarion State College. He went on to earn a Masters of Psychology from Duquesne University and then a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh. Larry taught history and coached the high school football team at Avonworth High School then became an Administrator of Psychological Services at North Allegheny School District, a job he held for thirty-three years.

My dad just informed us tonight as my mom was bathing him that he only showered about 3 times during the entire admission. He also has a rash on his bottom and genital area that my mom is trying to treat. In addition we don’t that think that the proper wound care was provided.
Loving Grandmother of eight and their spouses; and great “Grandma Rose” to nine. Rose was loved and is remembered by several generations of nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends. A graduate of St. Peters North Side and St. Benedict Academy, Rose worked at Western Union during World War II where she would later meet and marry Charles. Her Catholic faith was the core of her beliefs and of her life choices.

Age 78, of Franklin Park, wife, mother and friend extraordinaire, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Roy E. Wagner Jr. Virginia is survived by her sister, Patty Andries; her children, Roy E. Wagner III , Richard J. Wagner , Elizabeth Kmiecik , and Kathryn Wagner-Whiteside .
She also enjoyed anything to do with Harry Potter, and eagerly read and reread the entire series. There will be no visitation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A memorial mass will be scheduled in the future. Martha was a long time parishioner of St. Alexis Church. She is survived by her brother in law, Lawrence Shallenberger, her nephew and niece, Curtis Shallenberger of Beaver Falls, and Caryn McMarlin of Pittsburgh.

On Friday, April 25th, 2020, Judy Ann Eberhardt passed away peacefully at the Wexford House Nursing Home at the age of 75 after a four-year battle with dementia. Judy was preceded in death by her loving parents Lester and Martha Reynolds, husband William Eberhardt, brother Herb Reynolds, and brother-in-law Don Eberhardt. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation and private services. Age 98, formerly of McCandless Twp , on Saturday , May 2, 2020.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. William Calvin Parrish was born the fourth child of Luther Bundy Parrish and Eva Ruth Teal on July 23, 1929 in Dale County Alabama. He died peacefully in his sleep at age 91 attended by his family at Flowers Hospital in Dothan Alabama September 15, 2020. Mrs. Martha Booth Richardson of Black passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at her home. A private service will be held with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. He has conducted surveys for theLos Angeles Times, theSan Francisco Chronicle, and the California Business Roundtable. He holds a PhD in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Fred Doyle Wilson of Bonifay, FL went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held... Doris Ellen Bryan Williford—born in Slocomb, AL, on August 29, 1922—passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at the Arbor Springs Health and Rebab Center in Opelika, AL. On Monday, March 23, 2020, Deborah Faye “Debbie” Crawford Crockrell, of Slocomb passed away at the age of 60.

Age 68, of Wexford passed away on April 10, 2020, at home with his loving wife, Tina Silvis Peter, by his side. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul C. Peter, Jr. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.Eric graduated from Dickinson College and retired from the family business in Philadelphia.
Her legacy to her children was their catholic faith and education. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church, Wexford. Rose and Chuck loved their family and home first. They enjoyed and welcomed all visitors.
He loved to travel and dance, especially to the Pittsburgh oldies. He met his wife on a dance floor 48 years ago. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Area Jitterbug Club and he danced "The Slop" like no other. George adored spending time playing with his grandchildren and watching them play basketball and dance. George's fun-loving and carefree character is evident by the numerous friends and dear neighbors that he gathered with throughout his years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am in St. Aidan Parish-St. Alphonsus Church 201 Church Road, Wexford, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA. Catherine McLean of Gibsonia, formerly of Potters Mills, Pa and born and raised in Orillia, ON, Canada unexpectedly on Monday, February 13, 2017, in her 71st year.
While hospitalized he used a bed pan for this reason so he thought that he would do the same at the rehab. He ring his call bell and told the staff that he had to have a bowel movement and requested a bed pan. He was then told by staff member “well, I don’t know know what you’re going to do then” so he had to go on himself. I called that night and the following day the administrator Letitia did return our call to address the issue.
